Color Crush Cards is a fast shedding card game for two to four players. Everyone starts with seven cards and takes turns laying one on the pile: it has to match the top card's colour or its number or symbol. Can't play? Draw a card from the deck. The first player to get rid of every card wins the round and scores the points still left in the other hands, and you can play a single round or race to 500 points.

Action cards keep every round lively. Skip makes the next player miss a turn, Reverse turns the direction of play around, Draw Two hands the next player two cards, Wild lets you pick the colour and Wild Draw Four does both at once. When you are down to your second-to-last card, tap the Last card! button as you play it, or you take two penalty cards. The four colours, Berry, Mango, Mint and Grape, each carry their own symbol, so the game is easy to read for colour-blind players too.

Play against one to three computer opponents on easy, normal or hard, or go online: quick match finds up to three other players and fills any empty seats with computer players, and a private room gives you a four-letter code to share with friends. Online turns last 20 seconds. House rules let you stack draw cards on each other or keep drawing until you find a card you can play, and your options and stats are saved automatically.

How to play

  1. Play a card that matches the top card's colour, or its number or symbol. Wild cards go on anything.
  2. If you can't (or don't want to) play, tap the deck to draw. You may play the card you drew right away, or keep it.
  3. Skip, Reverse and Draw Two affect the next player; Wild and Wild Draw Four let you choose the next colour.
  4. Tap Last card! when you play your second-to-last card, or you draw two penalty cards.
  5. Empty your hand first to win the round and score the points left in the other hands: numbers are worth their face value, action cards 20 and wilds 50.

FAQ

Can I play Color Crush Cards online with friends?

Yes. Choose Online, then Create room and share the four-letter code; your friends pick Join room and type it in. The host can start with two, three or four players, and computer players can fill the empty seats. Quick match finds random opponents instead.

What happens if I forget to say Last card?

If you play your second-to-last card without tapping the Last card! button, you draw two penalty cards straight away. Tap the button before or while you play that card to stay safe.

Which house rules can I turn on?

In Options you can allow stacking, where a Draw Two or Wild Draw Four can be answered with another draw card so the total passes on to the next player, and draw until playable, where drawing goes on until you find a card you can play. You can also choose a single round or a race to 500 points.
