Merge Bakery
Merge Bakery is a relaxing merge game set in a little bakery. The board is a wooden tray of squares filled with ingredients, and every merge makes something tastier: drag one flour onto another and you get dough, two doughs become a bun, then a loaf, baguettes, a braided loaf and finally a full bread basket. Eggs grow into batter, muffins and a cupcake tower, strawberries turn into jam, cookies, tarts and a berry pie, and the dairy chain climbs from a bottle of milk through butter and whipped cream all the way up to a three-tier wedding cake.
New ingredients come from generators on the board: tap the brick oven, the hen house, the berry bush or the milk churn to make a fresh item next to it. Each tap uses one energy, which refills by itself every minute, even while the game is closed. You never have to sit and wait, though: serving customers gives energy back, every new level fills it up completely and spare coins can buy more. Customers line up at the top with orders of one to three treats; the card ticks off what you already have, and one tap on Serve hands the order over for coins and experience.
Levels open up more of the board, bring new chains with their own generators, let more customers wait at once and make their orders bigger. Out of space? Put items in the storage boxes for later, or sell the ones you do not need. Lucky merges sometimes leave a bonus bubble with a copy of the new item: buy it with coins before it pops after a minute. Spend your coins in the bakery room on six areas to decorate, from the counter and the display case to tables, shelves, lights and the window plants; every upgrade adds to your maximum energy. Your bakery is saved automatically, and with a free TapNPlay account your level goes on the leaderboard and your progress follows you to other devices.
How to play
- Drag an item onto an equal one to merge them into the next item of its chain. Items that do not match simply swap places.
- Tap a generator (the oven, the hen house, the berry bush or the milk churn) to make a new item. Each tap uses 1 energy; energy refills by 1 every minute.
- Look at the customers at the top. When a card shows a tick on every item, tap Serve to get coins, experience and some energy.
- Tap an item to see what it is and what it merges into. Sell or trash what you do not need, or drag it into a storage box to keep it for later.
- Level up to open more board space and new chains, and visit the bakery room to decorate it with your coins.
